Lola Mason is a highly sought-after interior designer. At her own design firm based in New York City, she works with some of the most elite clientele. One of her most recent projects involved redesigning an Upper Eastside brownstone for "Sex & the City" star, Sarah Jessica Parker. She has been a guest on morning talk shows like The Today Show and The View, and she has frequent appearances on networks such as HGTV and Style. However, on a day-to-day basis, she and her team enjoy making even the smallest spaces in and around Manhattan into some of the most lavish, lovely, and efficient. Therefore, she is a master of ingenuity while never compromising aesthetics. Before she reached her current level of stature, Lola attended New York University where she earned her degree in interior design, and while completing her studies, she often offered decorating advice to fellow classmates on her hall. Before she knew it, she was the go-to-girl for transforming dorm rooms, and she loved every minute of it. Although she is now a successful designer with an extensive client base, she will always remember her humble beginning in the tight space she called home while studying at NYU. She never fails to remind anyone, "Don't underestimate the power of a well decorated room" so this book is her way of helping college students make the most out of their dorm space.
